Every night I looked for you,
in my mind I searched,
but I did not find what I was looking for.
Instead I stumbled upon photos in the night,
those photos once live memories,
now faded by the "light".
I miss you much, my best friend.
I miss our laughs, our cries, our days.
Moments of frozen time,
will soon begin to melt,
because Summer's on it's ways.
You stood diligently by my side
day after day, year after year.
Now time has slipped between our fingertips,
and you are still not near.
I hope your life is all you've dreamt,
I hope all joy, all happiness, all love is cast,
but soon we'll become forever faded photographs,
melted memories slipped into the past.
